News & Updates Elevating Pivot + Mark in Bristol… We’ve been reflecting on some of our Project Management work for CBRE Investment Management, specifically Pivot + Mark: a Grade-A, modern workspace in the heart of Bristol. We’re proud to showcase some of the projects we completed across the building following its comprehensive refurbishment in 2021. For a number of years, Black Cat Building Consultancy have been repeatedly trusted by CBRE IM to Project Manage a series of Cat A+ refurbishments and floor transformations, delivering successful outcomes across the first, third, and fifth floors of the asset. Key projects have included: Conversion of the third floor into a fully fitted ‘ready to occupy’ office in 2022, which let immediately Sub-division of the first floor into two independent Cat A+ offices, successfully letting both spaces Cat A+ fit out of the fifth floor in 2024, providing a modern, flexible office space Our business is built on maintaining positive relationships with our clients, with a clear focus on delivering excellent work every time. News & Updates New Term, Brand New Business School The Cavendish Building has opened its doors! Black Cat Building Consultancy were appointed by the University of Derby to provide specialist Façade Consultancy on the Cavendish Building, the landmark new Business School in the heart of the city centre. Our role covered:• Reviewing façade specifications and design development• Carrying-out factory and on-site inspections• Providing clear, actionable recommendations to maintain quality, safety, and design integrity The seven-storey building, completed by Kier Construction, has just welcomed its first students and will provide cutting-edge facilities including creativity and finance labs, a logistics lab, and immersive XR learning environments. Our proactive involvement ensured the façade works were delivered to the highest standards, supporting the University’s aspirations for a world-class learning environment!
